Who remembers coming to the 1996 Clan Macpherson Gathering?

On that occasion we celebrated our 50th Gathering and the party lasted for a week. In 2006 we shall be meeting for the sixtieth time and we are going to make it the biggest and best Gathering yet.

What makes our Clan Gatherings successful is not luck but the people who come, and that means you!

If you have not been to a Gathering before, don"t worry, you will be surrounded by friendly people, many of whom will have the same surname as you and will greet you as a cousin. You may find it somewhat exhausting but if you go for a strict training course before and get lots of sleep in advance, you will last the pace and enjoy it. You might even book for the next year.

This is the chance of a lifetime to pack your kilt and come to your Scottish homeland, meet your extended family and enjoy our "Really Big Dhubh." Remember, diamonds are always brilliant!
